[animations] planets tumbling into place

  1. Nice! I especially like the SPLAT! I also like how the bubble seems to veer at the last moment, trying to avert its im-/ex-plosion, and the blend of 2D and 3D---and of motion and frozenness.

I like the additional shooting star in the top one but I prefer the darker colors and reflectivity of the bottom one.

Bubbles as planets again---microcosmic turned macrocosmic. A creation (or destruction) myth of the galaxy (speaking of galaxies, try this with milk).

Orbs smash against celestial windshield. Suns glow and explode and spray light-rays. Or some kind of fertilization---eggs and other reproductive cells.

Sidereal splatter. Bubble bodies in space. Craters and globes; moons and balloons.

    1. Thank you, and thank you for the idea to animate the POP!

Milk bubbles to create a similar galactic scene? Of course! Brilliant.

These have also reminded me of reproduction. I think it's fitting that both celestial bodies and reproduction can be interpreted in the same figures. After all, we are all made of star-stuff, right?
