Season for leaving

Season for leaving

  1. I like this. Beyond the pun, there's the sentimental irony of holding on to something that's dying. But autumn leaves are vibrant in their decay, and these pieces of luggage can barely contain a bursting batch of colors (the leaves are "spring"ing out, if you will).

Maybe these suitcases open up, Alice in Wonderland-style, to a whole tree.

And I bet you had to do some gathering to find all of those leaves.

  2. Yes. I'm happy you saw past the pun.

I like the possibility of a whole new tree inside. I see someone looking into the luggage and seeing the roots of an upside down tree. These are the leaves that have fallen up, off the tree, perhaps?
